The Unley Symphony Orchestra Sesquicentenary Concert was played at St Augustine's Church on Sunday 7 February 2021. The concert celebrated 150 years since the establishment of the City of Unley, and began with a moving pipe organ piece by Bach played by Ashley Tobin, followed by orchestral pieces from Massenet and Faure, and a Mozart symphony. In addition to conducting, Peter Webb entertained the 200 strong audience with the historical background associated with the Mozart symphony. This was a magnificent concert with wonderful acoustics. Thanks go to Don Palmer, Anne Ford, volunteers, and Unley City Council staff.
